Fabio Capello has played down concerns over Emile Heskey after revealing he will have a fully-fit squad at his disposal for England's friendly with Spain on Wednesday evening.
Capello claims the Aston Villa striker will be fit for the meeting with the European champions in Seville despite struggling with an Achilles problem.
"We have a little problem with Heskey, but I think today (Tuesday) he's training and will be fit," said the Italian coach.
"The other players will be okay."
Capello believes the friendly will be a good yardstick against which he can measure how far England have come in his 13 months at the helm.
"It will be a very interesting game for me because we will play against the European champions and we have already played against the (runners-up), against Germany, but the style of the teams is completely different," he added.
"Spain keep possession of the ball and the technical skills of the players is very good. The midfield is fantastic."
Meanwhile, Capello claims David Beckham's recent form for AC Milan warranted a recall, but insists he will not tell the former captain to join the Italian side.
Beckham is hoping to make his loan stay in Italy from Los Angeles Galaxy into a permanent move in the hope of prolonging his international career.
On the possible deal, Capello said: "This is for David Beckham to choose.
"I think the (Italian) championship is a very strong league. The US championship is not the same. The level is different.
"I choose the players in the best form."
