Jamie Carragher has said he came out of international retirement for one of his last chances to play at the highest level of football. The Liverpool defender said the World Cup and Champions League are the "highest levels of football". "I am not getting any younger, we have no Champions League next season and I am keen to work under Fabio Capello," said Carragher, implying that he might have continued his international exile had Liverpool enjoyed a better season.
