England coach Fabio Capello believes striker Wayne Rooney is now over the off-field issues which coincided with his poor form earlier this season.
Rooney endured a difficult first few months of the season at the same time as his personal life was prompting front-page newspaper headlines. However, the Manchester United striker's performances have improved with time and two goals against Aston Villa on Tuesday were positive news for Capello, who was watching from the stands at Old Trafford.
"Rooney is a fantastic player," Capello is quoted as saying by the Daily Express. "I have to speak with him, but the movement and passing is now good. And his head is now okay."
