Fabio Capello wants to remain as England manager at least until 2012, the Italian said on Friday.[LNB] The 63-year-old told a news conference he has no intention of quitting after next year's World Cup finals in South Africa and hoped to be around for the 2012 European championships in Ukraine and Poland.[LNB] "My contract ends in 2012 and I want to respect it," he told reporters at England's training headquarters at London Colney, north of London, before Saturday's friendly with Slovenia.[LNB] "It is not only a matter for me but also the FA, but in my mind the target is to respect my contract."[LNB] Capello has transformed England's fortunes since taking charge of the team for the first time in February last year. His 16 matches have resulted in 12 wins, two draws and two defeats -- a record that includes seven successive World Cup qualifiers.[LNB] England will ensure their place in next year's finals if they beat Croatia at Wembley on Wednesday.[LNB] (Editing by Alison Wildey)
