Bent out of France game

Darren Bent is likely to miss England's friendly against France with a hamstring injury. Bent, 26, was due to have a scan on Monday but has already been ruled out of Tuesday's game against his former club Totenham Hotspur. He suffered the injury in training on Friday and is expected to be absent for "several weeks". The Three Lions will take on France in a friendly at Wembley next Wednesday.
