188BET weekend preview - Wembley wonders

28 May 2010 19:44
Last week we managed to put forward Diego Milito to score the first goal in the Champions’ League final at odds of 4.50 and Blackpool to overturn the odds of 3.20 by winning through to the Premier League.  There were wonderful scenes of celebration across the Golden Mile and Milan after a great weekend of football.

Now we are less than two weeks away from the big one, the World cup Finals of 2010, and the excitement is making us giddy.  Check out 188 Ambassador Terry Venables on You Tube as he dares to dream of and England win...

Before that there is a big day out for Millwall, Swindon, Rotherham and Dagenham as the last two Play Off finals are decided at Wembley.

Millwall are unbeaten in four against Swindon and can secure their promotion at odds of 2.17, despite an average record away from the New Den.  In Play backers should watch out for their half time full time record as well.  In two out of three games this season they have been in the same position at 90 minutes as they have going in at the break.  That means if they are down they struggle to recover, if they are up they stay in front and if they are level... Sounds a little like the Grand old Duke of York but I hope i don’t have to pay £500,000 to make that reference.

In League Two I like the outsiders.  Dagenham won four of their last five compared to Rotherham’s one of their last four as the season reached its end.  The Daggers are playing with more abandon and the game could be high scoring with them coming out best at odds of 2.65.

There is plenty of international action to get stuck into.  England look strong at 1.78 to be leading at half time and full time against a Japan side that is struggling to find form at the moment.

Paraguay’s confidence was dented by defeat in Dublin and the Ivory Coast are another attractive underdog at 2.75 to inflict another defeat on the South Americans.

Follow all the weekend action and get yourself warmed up for the World Cup at 188BET.com.
