Energie Cottbus eased their relegation fears with a vital 1-0 win at Duisburg on Friday thanks to Ervin Skela's early header.
The win was Cottbus' first on the road this term and lifted them four points clear of the relegation zone.
Albanian midfielder Skela grabbed the only goal of the match in the fourth minute when his diving header from Dennis Sorensen's cross beat Duisburg goalkeeper Tom Starke.
The three points left Cottbus up to 14th in the Bundesliga table while Duisburg remain in the bottom three with only seven matches of the season remaining.
