Prasnikar calls for patience

Coach Bojan Prasnikar has stressed the importance of remaining patient to his Energie Cottbus players ahead of Thursday's relegation showdown with Nurnberg.

Cottbus and Nurnberg will go head-to-head in a two-legged play-off between the team which finished third from the bottom of the Bundesliga table and the second-best side from Bundesliga 2.

The winner will be playing in the top-flight next season.

"We are going to have to be patient," warned Prasnikar ahead of Thursday's home leg for Cottbus.

"We cannot go hell for leather."

"We cannot concentrate on one game since it is the best team from two matches which goes through."
