Cottbus snare striker Adi

Energie Cottbus have boosted their attacking options with the capture of Brazilian striker Adi.

The 23-year-old has joined the struggling Bundesliga side on a three-and-a-half year deal from SK Austria Karnten.

Adi has netted ten goals in 16 Austrian Bundesliga games his season.

"It's long been a dream of mine to play in the Bundesliga. I can't wait to rise to the challenges ahead," said the striker.

The club's sporting director Steffen Heidrich added: "Adi is just beginning to develop as a player and we are very much looking forward to having such a young and hungry striker in our ranks."
