Dempsie returns to Borough Briggs

Defender Allan Dempsie has returned for a second spell with Elgin City after being released by Ayr United. The 26-year-old full-back helped Ayr win promotion to Division One and will now hope to lift Elgin off the bottom of Division Three. Dempsie, who began his career with Hibernian, had a five-year spell at Borough Briggs before joining Ayr.
