Elgin City at full strength for visit of Stirling Albion

Elgin City are at full strength for the visit of Stirling Albion with manager Jim Weir determined that his side return to the top of the table as soon as possible.

East Fife ended the Borough Briggs' side unbeaten home record and took over at the summit with a 3-1 Highland success at the weekend, with Weir saying: "It is good to have a game as soon as possible as it gives us the chance to move on quickly.

"We made mistakes defensively that cost us on Saturday and we cannot do the same again against a Stirling side who have some of the best strikers in the league."

The Forthbank men head north low in numbers with hamstring injuries ruling out Scott Buist and Kevin McKinlay, a knee problem seeing Ross Smith side-lined and Craig Comrie continuing to be unavailable after illness.

There are also injury concerns over Aurelien Mazel and Lewis McLear with assistant manager Martyn Corrigan saying: "It is disappointing not to be heading to Elgin at full strength as they are a very good side, especially at home.

"However we had to dig deep to beat Arbroath on Saturday and keep up with the play-off squad and I am sure that we will dig deep for a good result again."
