Jack wants Dennis to menace

Elgin will be without the injured trio of Brian Cameron (foot), Paul Harkins (hamstring) and Paul Millar (knee) again against bottom-of-the-table Queen's Park.

Borough Briggs boss Ross Jack is looking for his side's most experienced player, Dennis Wyness, to help guide them to a first win in seven games.

Jack said: "Dennis has been leading our line really well recently and at 36 he's a great example to the rest of our squad in terms of the effort you need to put in.

"We've been close to getting wins recently and hopefully we can get over the finishing line this time out."

Queen's Park go looking for only their second win of the season without defender Jamie Brough who is serving the second game of a two-match ban.

A hamstring problem keeps Grant Mosson out and James Baty is still absent following surgery on an injured shoulder, but Ross Fisher is expected to shake off a knock in time.

Head coach Gardner Speirs is set to make changes following last Saturday's 5-0 defeat from Peterhead.

Speirs said "Defensively we need to be tighter and it is time for a bit of character to be shown.

"I will not be picking my team until Saturday as I need to get the balance right."
