Elgin pair face fitness tests Elgin are sweating on the fitness of Ross O'Donoghue and Dennis Wyness ahead of the visit of Queen's Park. The duo picked up knocks in the 2-0 victory over Peterhead last weekend. Manager Ross Jack will give the pair every chance of proving their fitness as Elgin look for a third consecutive home victory. Jack said: "Last Saturday we had to be patient to get our win and we will need the same approach against Queen's Park. We will also need to show the same level of application and concentration to win the three points." "There has been very little between the sides in the games up here in recent years and I would imagine that will again be the case." Queen's Park have Paul Gallagher back available for the trip. The defender missed the 1-0 victory over Clyde last weekend due to work commitments, but returns to compete for a place in the back line. Craig Smith is also available after a thigh strain kept him out of the same game and he could be named in the starting line-up. But the Highlanders will have to do without Jamie Brough and Ian Watt, who both miss out due to their own work commitments. Head coach Gardner Speirs said: " It is a pity Ian will not be playing as he was terrific in our win over Clyde but either Craig or someone else in the squad will get a chance to shine."
