Two out for Elgin

Elgin will be without Jamie Duff and Ali McKenzie against Montrose as the duo are suffering from knee injuries.

Manager Barry Wilson hopes that playing at their Borough Briggs home for the first time in four weeks will lift his side after a draw and a defeat.

Wilson said: "We have won our two home games so it has been disappointing to wait so long for the chance to win a third. That disappointment was increased after losing a game against Queen's Park last Saturday that we should have won.

"Montrose are a strong and well-organised side but hopefully we have enough about us to break them down."

Montrose will have former Queen's Park shot-stopper Lucas Birnstingl in goal in place of Stuart McKenzie who was dismissed after just three minutes of last weekend's defeat against Albion Rovers.

Declan O'Kane is also banned, with Ross Graham out due to family commitments and Danny Cavanagh struggling with a knock.

However, former Dundee striker Leighton McIntosh has been added to manager George Shields' squad.

Shields said: "We did well against Albion before we lost a second goal but too many of our games this season have been affected by sending-offs. We need to keep 11 men on the pitch if we are to do anything at Elgin."
