Elgin boosted by addition of trio
Elgin City host Edinburgh City and the Borough Briggs men add Darryl McHardy, Matthew Cooper and Jamie Reid to the squad which won 1-0 at Cowdenbeath last weekend.
Manager Jim Weir said: "We played well, created a lot of chances and it was good to get some points on the board early on.
"We will now look to build on that against Edinburgh City.
"It will not be easy as they defeated a top Highland League side in Brora Rangers, as well as an East Stirling team that always gave us problems, to reach this level so they will be very well-respected opponents."
Edinburgh will be without skipper Joe Mbu because of suspension and Osman See who has a groin injury.
Better news for the Meadowbank men is the addition of Hibernian full-back Aaron Dunsmore on loan and the return to fitness of goal-grabber Ross Allum.
Manager Gary Jardine said: "We got off to a disappointing start by losing to Forfar last weekend and we want to make up for that at Elgin.
"They are a strong side at home but if we cut out the mistakes we made last weekend we will give ourselves a chance."
