Mark Hurst exit sees Stewart Black return in goal for Elgin

Stewart Black will play in goal for Elgin against Clyde after Mark Hurst left the club.

Hurst has been recalled by parent club St Johnstone after a 10-game stint at Borough Briggs.

Manager Jim Weir has Marc Nicolson available after suspension but Liam Gordon, Jamie Duff, Brian Cameron and Kyle MacLeod are all injury doubts.

Weir said: "We have been strong at home all season and our aim is to keep that going against a Clyde team that have the most experienced squad in this league. They pose a real threat at set pieces and we have to be able to handle that if we want to secure another win."

Clyde can add new recruit Marvin Andrews to their squad however Scott Durie is still out with a groin surgery.

Manager Barry Ferguson said: "Elgin have an excellent record at home this season but we are looking to change that. If we are to be successful that we need a livelier performance than we had against Berwick last weekend. We drew 1-1 but for some reason it was a very flat afternoon.

"However that was not like the players and I am sure we will be ready to go at Elgin."
