Moore time needed for midfielder

Elgin will give talented midfielder Daniel Moore until the last minute to prove his fitness following a knee injury as they entertain Clyde.

The Borough Briggs side are definitely without Dennis Wyness (hamstring), Ross McKinnon (ankle) and Lewis Halford (calf) as they look for the win that will set them up for a late-season charge on the play-offs.

Manager Ross Jack said: "If we are to get into the play-offs we have to approach each game like a cup final and the Clyde game is the first of seven such cup finals.

"Clyde may well think the same and they will be very difficult opponents as they are coming here on the back of a very good win at Annan. We need to play well to get the three points."

Clyde striker Gary Graham is a major doubt for the trip after sustaining an ankle knock, while midfielder Kevin Nicol is also struggling to overcome a hamstring problem.

The Bully Wee are definitely without the injured defensive trio of Michael Oliver (ankle), David Marsh (groin) and Gavin Brown (hamstring), with manager Jim Duffy asking his men to show consistency from here on in.

Duffy explained: "We won down at Annan last week by playing to a very high standard.

"We have shown that we can do that several times this season but it would be great if the guys could do that every week from now.

"A win would take us to within a point of Elgin which would be a good turnaround in our season."
