Back to Black for Elgin

Elgin's Stuart Black is set to deputise for Ross Laidlaw against Berwick.

The 19-year-old will step in again as on loan Raith man Laidlaw is struggling with a shoulder injury.

Boss Jim Weir said: "We have no issues with using Stuart again especially as he saved a penalty when we defeated Montrose 4-0 at the weekend.

"If we can win we would go level on points with Berwick which is a fantastic turnaround when you consider where we were a couple of months ago. It will not be easy as Berwick played very well at Queen's Park and were unlucky to lose."

Berwick player/ manager Colin Cameron is an injury doubt and is without Stephen Tulloch (calf), Steven Notman (knee) and Blair Henderson (thigh).

Cameron is looking for his men to bounce back from their 2-1 defeat to Queen's Park on Saturday.

He said: "Elgin are in good form but this is a game we can win if we are more ruthless. We were the better side in the opening half at the weekend but we could not turn chances into goals.

"That has troubled us all season and the sooner we can sort it the better."
