Darryl McHardy included in Elgin squad for Arbroath game

Elgin add Darryl McHardy to their squad as they look for a victory against Arbroath that would secure a place in the Ladbrokes League Two play-offs.

Defender Sam Dryden, who is on loan from Dundee, continues to miss out with a knee problem.

Manager Jim Weir said: "We cannot control what goes on in other games but we can control this one. We will look for the win that gets us into the play-offs and then we can worry about league placings after that.

"However Dick Campbell is not long in charge at Arbroath and he will not want his side to come up here just to make up the numbers."

Arbroath are missing Kieran Stewart (tonsillitis) and Darren Ramsay (knee) as their season comes to an end at Borough Briggs.

Josh Skelly is a doubt but Craig Johnstone could start his first game in four months after a knee injury.

Dick Campbell said: "Elgin need a win to be sure of being in the play-offs but Borough Briggs is a long way to travel and not come home with anything.

"We want a win to be going into the summer excited about the season ahead and we will be sending out a team that will look to do that."
