Millar time for Elgin

Paul Millar scored twice as Elgin eventually sank lowly Clyde 4-2.

The visitors went ahead after 23 minutes when Kieran McGachie rose highest to head in Kieran McDonald's corner.

But the lead lasted just six minutes before Daniel Moore floated in a free-kick which Millar nodded past Jamie Barclay.

Craig Gunn put the hosts ahead eight minutes after the interval when he tucked in Millar's header across goal and Iain Gray put through his own net to make it 3-1 three minutes later.

Clyde could have halved the deficit after 66 minutes but Stefan McCluskey skied his close-range shot over the crossbar.

Instead, Millar grabbed his second, and City's fourth, when he headed in another Moore free-kick in the 75th minute.

McGachie puled one back nine minutes from time but Elgin held out.
