Elgin back to winning ways with big victory over Berwick
Three second-half goals helped Elgin return to winning ways in Ladbrokes Scottish League Two with a 4-1 victory over Berwick.
Berwick pressed for an early opener as player-manager Colin Cameron went close and Blair Henderson struck the post with a glancing header.
Connor McLaren gave the hosts the lead with his first goal for Elgin, heading Matthew Cooper's cross past goalkeeper Kevin Walker.
Cameron's men pressed for a reply as Graeme Beveridge blazed an effort over the bar before Ewan McNeil put Rangers back on level terms after 36 minutes with a stunning 35-yard strike.
Elgin had a good start to the second period, when Berwick's Ross Drummond put into his own net to make it 2-1 to the hosts, followed by Craig Gunn's low strike.
Mark Nicolson soon put Jim Weir's men out of sight with a well-crafted finish into the top corner following Thomas Reilly's through ball.
