Elgin win but miss out on play-offs

Substitute Ceiran McLean scored a last-gasp winner as Elgin beat East Stirling 3-2, but the win was not enough to seal a play-off place.

The visitors made a bright start but it was Elgin who drew first blood in the 15th minute.

Jamie Duff got on the end of Daniel Moore's searching cross to head past goalkeeper Craig Gordon from close range.

The Shire hit back two minutes later when Jamie Glasgow fired in from the middle of the area after good work from Graeme MacGregor.

City went 2-1 up in the 39th minute when Stuart Leslie rifled in from 10 yards before East Stirling's Paul Quinn poked in his third goal in two matches from close range to make it 2-2 at half-time.

Elgin dominated in the second half and stole all three points in the 89th minute when McLean blasted in from the left edge of the box but they were kept out of the play-offs on goal difference.
