Stunning fightback hands Elgin win Elgin came from behind to end a run of five straight defeats with a thrilling 3-2 win over mid-table Berwick. Berwick stormed into a 13th-minute lead against the run of play when Paul Currie's spectacular 30-yard drive flew into the top corner. Kevin Gordon then missed a glorious chance to double the visitors' lead before Currie grabbed a second with a smart effort from just inside the area. After Currie fouled Brian Cameron, Jason Crooks gave the home side hope with a well-taken 37th-minute penalty before Neil MacDonald scored his first of the season from close range just after half-time. Barry Wilson and Crooks wasted good chances to give Elgin the lead before defender Paul Kazcan sealed the comeback when he fired past Berwick goalkeeper Ian McCaldon 11 minutes from time.
