City claim Clyde scalp
Shane Sutherland inspired Elgin to their first Scottish League Two win in four as they recorded a comfortable 3-1 win against Clyde.
The visitors arrived at Borough Briggs having not won in three and that run looked like being extended when Craig Gunn converted Ally MacKenzie's cross to send the hosts into a half-time lead.
City's lead was doubled just after restart when Sutherland latched onto Mark Nicolson's pass before beating goalkeeper Joe McGovern and the same player scored his second minutes later with a deflected effort to all but wrap up the points for Ross Jack's team.
Clyde did throw themselves a lifeline when Shane Ferguson turned inside the area before drilling the ball beyond Stewart Black after 63 minutes but it was a case of too little, too late.
