Moore joy for Elgin
Daniel Moore put Elgin on their way to a 3-1 win over Annan at Borough Briggs.
Annan midfielder Steven Sloan almost gave his side the lead in the 12th minute but saw his close-range effort strike the bar.
The hosts went ahead two minutes later when Moore found the bottom corner from 20 yards, before Paul Harkins doubled the lead from the centre of the penalty box nine minutes later.
Craig Gunn made it 3-0 on the brink of half time when he latched onto Moore's pass to fire home from the left side of the area.
The visitors pulled one back in the 54th minute when Michael Daly headed in Sloan's cross from close range.
Elgin had the chance to extend their lead in the 67th minute when Alex Mitchell fouled Harkins in the area, but his penalty was tipped over the bar by Mitchell.
