Craig Gunn fires Elgin to win over East Stirling

Elgin moved top of Scottish League Two after seeing off rock-bottom East Stirling 2-0.

After a lifeless first 45 minutes, Elgin took control just after the hour-mark with Craig Gunn winning a penalty after drawing a foul from Ross Fisher in the box.

Gunn rifled the spot-kick home into the bottom-left corner and Brian Cameron put the result beyond doubt with a goal three minutes from time.

Elgin now sit two points clear of East Fife, beaten at Queen's Park, at the top of the table while East Stirling - who mustered just one shot on target - remain bottom and are now five points behind Berwick.
