Sean Higgins and Peter MacDonald on target as Clyde see off Elgin

Clyde's in-form strikers did the damage to claim a 2-0 away win at Elgin.

Sean Higgins lit the blue touch paper for the Bully Wee inside two minutes. Scott Linton's long throw was flicked on by Peter MacDonald, and Higgins converted his fourth goal of a promising early season.

MacDonald then joined his counterpart with four for the term when he capitalised on a weak Stewart Black clearance to volley his side into a healthy lead.

John Gibson twice saved well from Shane Sutherland to keep his clean sheet intact in the second half.

Clyde defender Martin McNiff was sent off late on for a crude handball as the home side raced through, but it came too late to affect the visitors' chances.
