Gray hat-trick rocks Elgin Berwick continued their rich vein of form with a 4-0 demolition of mid-table rivals Elgin. The win brings them to within six points of a play-off spot, two points behind Elgin but have two games in hand. Despite a slow start to the match, Berwick striker Damon Gray fired The Borderers into the lead with a left-footed strike on 25 minutes. Darren Gribben's smart finish after 33 minutes put the home side two up before Damon Gray bagged his second just two minutes later. Berwick looked comfortable going into the second-half, and the introduction of Kevin Gordon shortly after the break helped Berwick maintain control of the game. Damon Gray bagged his hat-trick in the 76th minute with a right-footed strike as Berwick cruised to their third victory in four games.
