Amanatidis faces long lay-off

Eintracht Frankfurt's Greek striker Ioannis Amanatidis is unlikely to play again until February because of a troublesome knee injury.
The 26-year-old scored a late winner after coming off the substitute's bench against Karlsruhe two weeks ago but aggravated his knee problem during the game and required surgery.
During the operation it was discovered that he has cartilage problems as well as the diagnosed meniscus damage.
"A comeback before the end of February is unthinkable," his agent Dirk Lips told Kicker.
Eintracht are also without defender Chris for the next six weeks, after he was forced to have a shoulder operation.
