Guthrie fitness boost for Edinburgh City ahead of Montrose clash
Ross Guthrie is available for Edinburgh City's home clash with Montrose after recovering from a hamstring injury.
"There is a small prize on offer for winning this game as it would put us above Montrose in the table," said manager Gary Jardine, whose side are currently bottom with one point from five games. "It will be a scrap."
Nico Gibson has been ruled out of the encounter with a thigh problem.
Montrose are just a point above City and boss Paul Hegarty said: "It is early in the season but this is a really important game as neither side will want to finish the day in bottom spot.
"We go into it on the back of a disappointing defeat against Cowdenbeath where we scored on 44 minutes but could not hold the lead until half-time.
"That is an example of how things have not clicked into place for us yet, but hopefully this will be the game it happens in."
Defender Chris Hegarty is out with an ankle injury.
