City fans won't See Osman
Edinburgh City will be without striker Osman See as they create history by playing Forfar at Meadowbank Stadium in their first ever senior league match.
Manager Gary Jardine said: "There is a sense of excitement building around the club however the players are focused only on doing well against Forfar.
"We had a really positive training session on Thursday and will look to get the three points.
"Forfar were relegated last season and lost 7-0 to Dundee last weekend so we will be facing a side out to bounce back from those disappointments and out to make a statement about their intentions in the league."
Michael Kennedy and Marc Scott are injury doubts for Forfar with manager Gary Bollan not dwelling long on last Saturday's defeat at Dens Park.
Bollan said: "It was a disappointing day but when you look at the bigger picture our start to the season in the Betfred Cup was good.
"We started the game well but things ran away from us after we went two goals down but we have moved on from it.
"There is a lot of attention on this game, which is right as it is a great moment for Edinburgh City, however we are going there looking to win."
