Edinburgh City captain Joe Mbu back from ban to face Berwick Rangers
Edinburgh City entertain Berwick Rangers and the Meadowbank Stadium side's captain Joe Mbu returns from a two-game ban.
Nico Gibson is ruled out with a thigh injury but Ross Guthrie is expected to shake off a knock to feature.
Manager Gary Jardine said: "We are really keen to get that first senior point on the board. We lost to Cowdenbeath last weekend however our performance level had improved greatly on the game before so there is lots to be positive about.
"We won a bounce game against Kelty Juniors in midweek and again more bits and pieces were falling into place so we can look forward to facing Berwick."
Berwick will be without the suspended duo of skipper Jonny Fairbairn and Michael McKenna as well as the injured duo of on-loan Hibs midfielder Sean Mackie (ankle) and Graeme Beveridge (knee).
Manager John Coughlin said: "This will be a very difficult game as every week that passes Edinburgh City will be more determined to get their first ever SPFL win. They will see this game as a great chance to do that as they are at home against a side that lost last weekend.
"However we are very determined to make amends for that and fully intend to keep our hosts waiting a week longer for their win."
