Berwick snatch a point at Edinburgh City thanks to Stevie Thomson's late goal
Stevie Thomson's 12th goal of the season earned Berwick a late point in a 2-2 draw at Edinburgh City.
The home side made a bright start, with striker Derek Riordan bringing a fine save from Sean Brennan with a well-struck free-kick.
Brennan did well to keep out a low drive from Aaron Dunsmore after 27 minutes but it was Berwick who opened the scoring six minutes later.
Greg Rutherford, who had scored three goals in his previous two matches, was on target again, firing home from the edge of the area.
Edinburgh equalised early in the second half when Riordan headed home Craig Beattie's cross from the right and went ahead with 20 minutes remaining when Dougie Gair prodded in from six yards.
But it was all square with 10 minutes left when Thomson collected the ball off Lee Hamilton and drilled it through Andrew Stobie's legs.
