Edinburgh City's wait for a win goes on

Edinburgh City are the only Scottish League Two side yet to win this season after Montrose beat them 1-0 at Meadowbank Stadium.

Ross Allum went closest for the rock-bottom hosts when his 18th-minute strike had to be cleared off the line, while Chris Templeman had a goal ruled offside for the visitors before half-time.

Calum Antell's fumble gave Gary Fraser a golden opportunity in the 61st minute and the Montrose striker made no mistake to clinch his side's first win of the season.

The visitors, who are now up to eighth, went down to 10 men in the dying moments as Terry Masson picked up his second yellow card.
