Gravesend & Northfleet boss Andy Ford was happy to see his side take three points from a 3-1 home win over Leigh RMI at Stonebridge Road.
Goals from Rob Owen, Rob Haworth and Chris Moore - all their first for the club - gave Fleet only their second victory of the campaign and lifted Ford's side up to 18th in the table.
Afterwards, Ford told BBC Radio Kent: " It was a massive three points, a first home win and a good display as well.
"The lads that have come in recently have possibly given us a bit more balance and a bit more to our game.
"We've got to be sure we take things out of this game, remain positive and brush up on a little bit of defending."
The Railwaymen ended the game with nine men following the sendings-off of Wayne Maden and Martyn Lancaster.
