Fleet complete second striker deal

Gravesend & Northfleet have completed the signing of a new-look strikeforce by snapping up Tony Battersby from Stevenage Borough.

Fleet boss Andy Ford had earlier brought in Oxford United forward Manny Omoyinmi on a month's loan, with Battersby now joining until the end of the season.

The 28-year-old had been told he could leave Broadhall Way, having joined the club a year ago, following a league career taking in eight different clubs.

Meanwhile, Steve McKimm and Paul Wilkerson have signed new contracts to keep them at Stonebridge Road until the end of next season.
