East Stirlingshire held on for a win despite a spirited second half comeback by Stranraer.The visitors opened the scoring on nine minutes when a mistake in the Blues midfield let Andy Rogers break clear and fire in a deflected shot. Shire doubled their lead on the stroke of half-time when Jamie Stevenson shot in to the top corner from six yards.
