Goalkeeper Peat switches to Shire

Goalkeeper Mark Peat has joined East Stirlingshire until the end of the season after his release by Montrose.Shire boss Jim McInally told the club's official website: "I am delighted with the signing."Everyone I have spoken to about Mark has been positive and people have told me we are signing the best goalkeeper in the Third Division."The capture of Peat comes after McInally agreed an extension to his contract until 2011.Twenty-eight-year-old Peat, who is likely to make his debut against Forfar.... read more
