Stirling duo doubtful Dean Richardson and Craig Donaldson are doubts for East Stirling's clash with Berwick. The duo picked up knocks in the Shire's best performance of the season, the 5-3 win over Arbroath on Tuesday. The players will need to lift themselves from Thursday's disappointment at the club being expelled from the Scottish Cup after playing an ineligible player when they defeated Buckie Thistle. Assistant head coach David Nicholls said: "It has been a week of real conflicting emotions as we had the high of a great performance against Arbroath to the low of not going through in the Scottish Cup. "Our tie with Brechin City has gone now so there is no point in letting the disappointment of that affect our league form starting against Berwick." Berwick bad boy Darren Gribben is likely to start on the bench following last week's show of petulance. Gribben threw his jersey at manager Jimmy Crease following his substitution. Winger Fraser McLaren will return from injury while Crease has boosted his options further by signing Alloa's John Grant. He also hopes to include a trialist recently released from a Second Division club. Crease said: "Darren has been in training as normal this week but he is probably going to start on the bench as we played better last weekend after he went off. "East Stirling had a great result at Arbroath in midweek but if we take our chances better than we have been we will do okay."
