Defender ready to face Albion

East Stirling will include centre-half Raymond Buchanan against visitors Stirling Albion after a deal was agreed with Whitletts Victoria to bring the player to the club after a successful trial period.

Michael Hunter is available after suspension and head coach John Coughlin is hoping to also tie fellow trialist Andy Stirling to the club on a short-term deal and he will take the field if the paperwork is completed on time.

Rhys Devlin, Craig Donaldson, Jamie Benton and Nathan Shepherd all remain out injured.

"This will be a really tough game as Stirling will be viewing this as a great chance to get off the foot of the table," Coughlin said.

"Defensively we need to improve and it would be great to end this game with a clean sheet."

Stirling will be without striker Jordan White through a one-game suspension that he was due to serve against Montrose on Saturday.

The on-loan Falkirk striker is due to sign for Albion permanently when the transfer window opens and in preparation for that the Bairns cancelled his contract on Friday which meant that he was unregistered and therefore could not be banned against the Gable Endies.

Brian Allison is a major doubt with Danny Ashe, Jamie Clarke and Gavin McPherson again ruled out with injuries.

Manager Greig McDonald said: "We have the chance to move off the bottom and intend to take it.

"It is disappointing that we are without Jordan but we will still look to play an attacking game and win the points."
