Duo fit for Gers task

East Stirling can include skipper Kevin Turner and defender Ricky Miller against leaders Rangers.

Head coach John Coughlin welcomes the duo back after they both served a suspension in the midweek win over Queen's Park.

But Rhys Devlin, Jamie Benton, Craig Donaldson and Jamie Glasgow miss out through injury.

Coughlin said: "The win at Hampden means that we are going into this game with a smile on our faces. We can host Rangers with no pressure and hopefully that will relax the boys and allow them to put on the best performance possible.

"It is a fantastic day for the club in front of a packed crowd but we have to be careful to not stand around admiring the scenery but to take part in the game."

Andy Little is a doubt for Rangers.

The Northern Ireland striker is nursing a foot injury and could miss the trip to Ochilview.

Defenders Emilson Cribari (calf), Sebastien Faure and Ross Perry (both hernia) remain on the sidelines, while the match may come too soon for David Templeton (hamstring).

Francisco Sandaza also remains out of action with a fractured cheekbone.

Boss Ally McCoist admits he has no option other than to cope with his injury problems.

He said: "The squad is depleted. We are struggling in the defensive areas but we managed to get by last weekend with a good solid victory [against Peterhead] and a clean-sheet.

"So the same sort of performance will be required. It's not ideal but there's nothing we can do about it so we just have to handle it."
