Vidler the only absentee as East Sterling look to avenge Queen's Park defeat

East Stirling will have only Billy Vidler missing as they seek just a fourth league win of the season against Queen's Park.

Craig Tully's side have taken just four points from their last eight League Two fixtures and sit bottom of the table ahead of Saturday's game.

Vidler is absent with a knee injury but Tully wants to see how much his side have progressed since they were hammered by Queen's Park in September.

"When we went to Hampden early in the season we were easily seen off 5-1. It would great to turn that around and show that we have improved since then," he said.

"We showed a good bit of resolve to get a point from a goalless draw at Stirling Albion and could have taken all 3 points at the end. A similar performance this time out would be great."

Queen's will be without club-captain Tony Quinn due to a hip problem but Cammy Marlow is in contention having shaken off a knock as Gus MacPherson's side look to move back into the top four.

"I know that the score-line from the last game looks emphatic however there was a stage at 2-1 where they were giving us lots of problems," said MacPherson.

"The game opened up when they gave away a penalty and had a man sent off so we cannot go there and think getting the points will be easy. We have slipped down a very tight table and the best way to respond to that is by winning games."
