Leaders boosted by returning trio

Table-topping East Stirling look for win number four in a row when Peterhead visit Ochilview and head coach John Coughlin has Scott Maxwell, Ross O'Donoghue and Jamie Glasgow available after injury.

However, knee injuries continue to keep Rhys Devlin and Nathan Shepherd out and Michael Herd remains absent due to a groin injury with Coughlin telling his new-look side that they face their toughest test.

Coughlin said: "Peterhead are a strong side and they have strikers that will be a real test for our defence. If we could end this part of the season unbeaten and top of the league then it will have been a terrific start."

Peterhead have striker Andy Rodgers back to face his former Shire colleagues after a two-game ban, however Bryan Gilfillan, Dean Cowie and Graeme Sharp miss out through work commitments.

Callum MacDonald's knee injury and Ryan Strachan's ankle problem keep them out yet manager Jim McInally is not looking for any excuses.

He said: "We would like continuity but we have a good squad. We will still have a strong starting XI out and we will just get on with things. The Shire have done well but it is time for us to start winning games and this would be the perfect one to do that in."
