Quinn comes back from chickenpox

East Stirling have striker Paul Quinn available for the first time in three weeks after a bout of chickenpox when promotion-chasing Peterhead visit.

On-trial forward Max Wright is again included, however knee injuries keep Nathan Shepherd and Rhys Devlin out with Philip Zufle also absent due to an ankle injury.

Head coach John Coughlin is looking for his men to keep progressing.

He said: "We are playing much better football than we were last season, which is very pleasing, but we really need to be turning that into points.

"Peterhead have good strikers and the key to winning will be keeping them quiet. If we do that then we have a really good chance, especially if we pass the ball as well as we can do."

Peterhead have added defender Conner McGlinchey to their squad after he was released by Hamilton last week.

Despite McGlinchey's introduction, manager Jim McInally's resources are stretched as David Ross and Callum MacDonald are out for the long term with knee injuries.

Bryan Gilfillan and Stephen Maguire are missing through work commitments while suspension keeps out Scott Ross and Ryan Strachan.

Former East Stirling manager McInally said: "There may be five places between us in the league but there is very little between the sides.

"The Shire are a good side who have improved a lot so this one will be settled by the team that turns up the most on the day.

"I am planning on that being Peterhead."
