Shire turn to veteran Fraser as four miss out through injury

Bottom-of-the-table East Stirling welcome Montrose to Ochilview and the Shire look set to include veteran midfielder John Fraser in their ranks.

Foot injuries continue to keep Ross Gilmour and Michael Wallace out while Billy Vidler (knee) and Max Wright (calf) remain sidelined.

Head coach Craig Tully said: "We had a great win at Clyde in midweek and we want to build on it against Montrose.

"Winning this game drags more teams into the fight at the bottom of the table and we will go out to win as draws are not really of any use."

The Gable Endies are without long-term absentees Paul Watson (groin) and Ross McCord (knee), but goalkeeper Alex Tokarczyk and Gary Fraser are available after illness and Graham Webster also returns after a knock.

Manager Paul Hegarty said: "East Stirling's win at Clyde has put some pressure on the teams sitting just above them and that includes us.

"We know that winning this game would ease some of the pressure and that is what we will look to do.

"We defeated the league leaders Elgin a fortnight ago with a great performance and then went down to Berwick. We can play well but we need to be more consistent."
