Zufle rises for the Shire

East Stirling welcome back midfielder Philip Zufle from a two-game ban as they host Montrose.

The Shire are looking to end a run of three straight defeats and have trialist Raymond Buchanan included for a second time.

However, Nathan Shepherd, who picked up a knee injury in Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Clyde, has joined Rhys Devin, Craig Donaldson, Jamie Glasgow and Jamie Benton on the absentee list.

Head coach John Coughlin said: "This will be a really tough game as, despite losing against Rangers, Montrose will be coming here boosted by a fine performance that was full of a goal threat.

"We are playing a good passing style but we have to add a cutting edge and if we do that we can take something from this game."

Montrose list the same squad that went down 4-2 to Rangers on Saturday, meaning only defender Paul Lunan is missing due to his ankle injury.

Links Park boss Stuart Garden has told his players to ensure their attitude is correct right from the kick-off.

"We have to be mentally tuned in as this case will be a case of us going back to our reality after Saturday," he said.

"We have to get going very quickly at a ground where we did not do well at last season and reach the same standard we set on Saturday."

"We can move back into third place with a win and that has to be our aim from this game."
