Duo missing for the Shire

East Stirlingshire are again without the injured Ross O'Donoghue who has a pelvic problem and Kevin Turner who has an ankle injury when they play host to Elgin City.

Head coach John Coughlin knows what his side have to do to secure their first win in four as he explained: "We are lacking a spark of creativity in the final third of the pitch.

"I cannot fault the players for their work-rate but we are not scoring enough goals and that is why we have fallen out of the top four.

"We have been working on a few things in training and hopefully they will come off against Elgin."

Elgin welcome Mark Nicolson back after suspension but Brian Cameron (foot) is sidelined.

Paul McMullan (ankle) misses out, while David Niven has a severely bruised toe and is rated as doubtful.

Recently appointed boss Barry Wilson said: "I was disappointed with our first half showing against Albion Rovers last week however the second half was a lot better. The players showed a lot of character and determination to hit back from a goal down and get a draw.

"That was the most pleasing part of the game and we will need that again to take anything home with us from East Stirling."
