Turner fit for the Shire

East Stirling are looking for third win in a week when Elgin City visit and Kevin Turner has been declared fit enough to start after overcoming a groin injury.

The Shire will be without Mark Begg (foot), Rhys Devlin (knee) and Philip Zufle (ankle) and Connor Kelly's loan spell from Alloa has ended, however head coach John Coughlin is asking his men to keep winning.

"We have been playing well for a while now but thankfully we have started adding wins to playing well," he said.

"We have a bit of momentum and we know that if we can win this game we are really putting pressure on the teams above us."

"Elgin will be looking to hit back after a heavy defeat to Montrose so we have to play well."

Elgin make the trip without suspended defender Sean Crighton as they look for only their second win in 10 games.

Knee injuries mean that Jamie Duff and David Niven remain out while a hamstring problem keeps Dennis Wyness sidelined.

Borough Briggs boss Ross Jack is also missing Graeme Beveridge due to work commitments while expectant father Lewis Halford remains in Morayshire.

"We are a few players down but it is a squad game so there is no point in complaining," he said.

"The Shire have a lot of confidence at the moment after a run of decent results whilst we have lost some due to our run.

"It is time for us to be positive and turn that situation around."
