Turner back for cup clash
East Stirling captain Kevin Turner will return to the starting XI against Dunfermline in the first round of the Scottish Communities League Cup.
Turner has served his suspension and will go straight back into the team with Paul Quinn ruled out with a knee injury.
Michael Herd (groin), Nathan Shepherd (knee) and Rhys Devlin (knee) are also on the sidelines while Jamie Glasgow is another absentee as he is away on holiday.
Head coach John Coughlin said: "We lost to Formartine last weekend as we were poor defensively and we need to improve a lot in that area if we are to do anything against Dunfermline.
"They will be coming here on a high after their financial situation got better during the week and we have to guard against that."
Stephen Husband remains suspended for Dunfermline but the Pars look set to welcome Andy Geggan back into their ranks after he shrugged off a pre-season knock.
Boss Jim Jefferies' recently increased his options with the loan signings of Luke Johnston and Jordan Moore from Dundee United.
He said: "We had a great win at Cowdenbeath last weekend and the club had the Company Voluntary Arrangement agreed on Wednesday so spirits are high. We are looking to keep that going with a win."
