Shire wait on Celtic loan star

East Stirling hope to have Luke Donnelly in their squad to face visitors Berwick despite the on-loan Celtic midfielder picking up an injury in the 1-0 defeat to Montrose last weekend.

Everyone else is available to head coach Craig Tully, withNathan Shepherd back in the squad after seven months out with a knee injury as the Shire look to maintain an interest in the play-offs.

Assistant manager George Shaw said: "We can still finish anywhere between fourth and ninth in the table.

"Winning this game would take us closer to fourth and that is where we want to be, however Berwick will be saying exactly the same."

Berwick player/manager Colin Cameron will return to the Shielfield squad after recovering fitness.

But the injured Ross Drummond (ankle) and Steven Notman (knee) miss out, while Chris Dillon is a doubt as the Borderers look to complete a clean sweep of wins over their hosts.

Cameron said: "We have done really well against East Stirling this season and it would be good to pick up win number four, but they have done really well in recent months so it will be difficult.

"While it will be difficult we are not out of the play-offs and a win could keep us interested."
